Information provision and training system

Pre-guidance

At the time of job offer, we will explain employment conditions and post-employment environment in a language that the person can understand to avoid any discrepancies, and we will proceed with the application only after obtaining their agreement.

Unique training curriculum based on case studies and laws

We will analyze past cases of trouble and consultation involving foreign personnel, and strive to promote understanding using original training materials from the Food and Beverage Association in order to prevent similar cases from occurring.

Consultation and problem solving

Response to inquiries and complaints

After starting work, consultations and complaints may arise regarding work and daily life. We respond in the trainee's native language, and in some cases, Japanese staff will respond, provide feedback to the host company, and work together to resolve the issues.

Follow-up after taking up post

Our native language staff conduct interviews with supporters every month. The information gathered is shared between support staff and company staff, and solutions are sought with the accepting companies. This will help improve the retention rate of human resources.

Exchange support

Promoting exchanges with Japanese people

Interaction with Japanese people is an important element in coexistence within the local community. In addition to providing information on local government events, the association also takes the initiative in planning regular exchange events.

Promoting exchanges between specific skilled workers

Interacting with colleagues working in the same field and under the same circumstances can also help improve motivation and relieve stress . Association staff also participate in the talk sessions on each topic and exchange opinions.

Frequently asked questions

What kind of support do you provide to help foreign talent settle into the workplace?

We are taking the following three steps to help foreign talent settle in the workplace.

① Improved matching accuracy through pre-interviews

Before the interview, our dedicated recruitment team will conduct a preliminary interview with the job seeker and thoroughly explain the job content and work environment.

This will prevent mismatches after joining the company and reduce the risk of early turnover.

② Continuous follow-up system in your native language

We conduct regular interviews in the employee's native language and proactively approach workers with whom we do not usually have much contact in order to discover issues that may not readily surface at an early stage. In cooperation with companies, we are creating an environment where employees can work with peace of mind.

3) Creating opportunities for exchange among the three parties

Regular networking events are held between registered support organizations, accepting companies, and workers to deepen mutual understanding and build relationships of trust.

How do you respond to inquiries about life and work?

Counselors who can speak the worker's native language will provide initial support and carefully listen to the worker's anxieties and worries. Depending on the content of the issue, we will work with the support management staff in charge of each company to provide specific support to resolve the issue.

Your consultation details will be managed and shared appropriately, so you can consult with us with peace of mind.

Are there any supported languages other than Japanese?

Yes, we can speak the following languages:

English / Vietnamese / Burmese / Indonesian / Nepalese / Korean / Chinese

How long does the settling-in support last?

Normally, the support for settling into the country is provided for the period of stay of the Specified Skilled Worker (Specified Skilled Worker) (maximum of 5 years), but if desired, we can continue to provide support even after the worker has transitioned to Specified Skilled Worker (Specified Skilled Worker) status.

Do you also provide assistance with arranging housing and living infrastructure?

Yes, we do. Thanks to our partnership with major rental companies, we can introduce properties all over the country.

We also respond to a variety of needs, such as coordinating with local real estate companies, corporate contracts with companies, and individual contracts with employees themselves.
