Support Services Introduction [Regular Visit Report Vol.1]

One of the tasks we do to support specific skilled workers is to conduct regular visits and interviews.

The companies we support are located all over Japan.

In order to meet with company representatives and foreign staff on a daily basis,

Our association's sales team is traveling all over the country!

I keep in touch with my coworkers via messenger or LINE whenever I need to, but I also visit the office once every three months!

Companies that are focusing on hiring foreigners,

I would love for everyone to know about this.

This time, we visited Creative Resort Co., Ltd., the operator of a very popular tempura restaurant in Lake Kawaguchi.

The appointment with the customer is at 11:30 @ Kawaguchiko!

I took the Chuo Line train from Tokyo Station to Kawaguchiko.

The train is already full of foreign tourists!

After passing Shimoyoshida and seeing Mount Fuji in the distance, people started taking photos everywhere in the car.

Mount Fuji gets me excited no matter how many times I see it!

I couldn't help but take a picture too.

We arrived at Lake Kawaguchi just after 11am!

The client's headquarters is a little far from the station, so they came to pick us up by car.

On this day we visited Creative Resort.

The company's headquarters is located close to Fuji-Q Highland.

The office, a converted log cabin in the middle of nature, is very cool!

Apparently they sometimes hold barbecues in front of their headquarters.

Isn't it wonderful!

After the meeting, on the way back to the station,

We will have lunch at " Fuji Tempura Idaten " , run by Creative Resort !

Son, a Vietnamese man supported by our association, is frying tempura! I am overwhelmed with emotion seeing him doing such a great job.

It was said to be an indispensable item now.

Song runs the frying area by himself and also serves food directly to customers at the counter. He's very reliable!

Thanks to Song's efforts, the store is a huge success.

As the coronavirus situation calmed down and the number of inbound tourists visiting Japan increased,

As soon as the store opens, there is a waiting list, with eight rotations per day.

Apparently they often stop taking orders around 6pm.

When we arrived at Kawaguchiko Station on the way back, we could see the beautiful Mt. Fuji in the background!

With our stomachs filled with delicious tempura and our hearts filled with joy at seeing how much Son has grown, we took the bus back to Shinjuku.
