This time, for the 12th time we 've held the "JFBFE Exchange Meeting in Fukuoka" on Sunday, October 5th, along the beach in Itoshima, Fukuoka Prefecture !

Approximately 40 foreign workers with specific skills and representatives from their host companies participated in the event . People from diverse nationalities, including Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Vietnam, gathered together for a day of fun away from the workplace.

A spectacular location typical of Fukuoka! BBQ on the beach in Itoshima

The venue for this event was a beachside location in Itoshima, where the sea breeze was pleasant. Although it was early October, the temperature was still high, making it a perfect day for a BBQ! It turned out to be a lively get-together filled with smiles and a friendly atmosphere.

The BBQ menu was designed with religious and cultural differences in mind, offering a selection of pork-free dishes (except for sausages) so that Muslim guests could enjoy themselves without worry . Indonesian participants, in particular, expressed their delight at the thoughtfulness!

The participants quickly bonded, transcending differences in nationality and occupation. Seeing them naturally support each other while exchanging words and smiles, I was once again impressed by the high level of communication skills among international talent .

The quiz and bingo tournament was a huge success, transcending national boundaries!

After satisfying our appetites, it was time for the much-anticipated recreation! We started with a quiz game . The themes were "Japanese lifestyle and culture" and "Fukuoka dialect."

The Fukuoka dialect quiz featured local dialects like "sha-shi" and "totto-to"! The staff were surprised by the enthusiastic response from the participants who raised their hands to answer. Some had already mastered the dialect, and the venue was filled with laughter.

Next up was the bingo game ! Cheers erupted each time a number was called out, and the venue instantly heated up! Everyone applauded as participants received their prizes, creating a truly exciting atmosphere.

The prizes included a wide variety of items such as backpacks, Anker chargers, basketballs, and Halloween candy sets. Also, with the hope that everyone would take home a memento, we gave everyone a Ralph Lauren hand towel as a participation prize!

Take photos at a photogenic spot!

During free time between recreational activities

At photo spots such as swings and a "Anywhere Door" set up on the beach,

Everyone was enjoying taking pictures in their own way 📸

With the blue sea and sky as our backdrop, we were able to take lots of photos and create lasting memories!

At this exchange event in Itoshima, Fukuoka, we were able to spend a time filled with smiles, transcending differences in nationality and industry.

Not only did the participants deepen their relationships with each other, but it also seems that it was a valuable opportunity for the host companies' representatives to enjoy themselves together and learn about aspects of each other that aren't usually seen in the workplace.

We will continue to hold exchange events in various locations, working together to create a society where foreign talent can integrate into local communities and work with a smile.

We hope you'll look forward to our next get-together!
