Support Services Introduction [Regular Visit Report Vol.3]

This is the third report of our regular visit!

This time, we went on a regular visit to Menou Wakashiba Main Branch, a popular ramen restaurant in Kashiwa that was founded in 1978 and continues to be loved by the local community.

Men-o Wakashiba Main Branch is located along National Route 16, about a 5-minute walk from Kashiwanoha Campus Station on the Metropolitan Intercity Railway Tsukuba Express.

Shortly after opening at 11am, the parking lot for 30 cars was full and all 80 seats inside the restaurant were full, making it very crowded.

Not only are there many locals, but judging from the license plates on the parked cars, it's clear that many people come from far away too, making this an extremely popular restaurant!

This time, we had a little time before opening to meet with Ha, a Vietnamese man working as a specific skilled worker.

Currently, I am in charge of assisting the manager and cooking all ramen and gyoza.

Ha-san will soon be in his second year at the company, and he says he finds his work fun and rewarding.

"I want to work hard and become a store manager in the future!" she says with a enthusiastic attitude that is very reliable!

Ha-kun also holds level N3 on the JLPT (Japanese Language Proficiency Test), and the store manager said, "We would like to entrust him with supervising and assisting part-time workers in the future. We would also like him to work towards obtaining Specified Skills No. 2."

I would love to support Wakashiba Honten and our association as the first Specified Skilled Worker No. 2!

Thank you to everyone at the store, Ha-kun, for welcoming me even though I visited before lunchtime during a busy day.

Finally, we enjoyed the miso ramen that Ha-kun made for us, which is the restaurant's pride and joy.

The rich soup was delicious with plenty of minced meat and bean sprouts!
