We, a registered support organization, provide nine types of mandatory support to those working on specific skills visas.

Here we introduce the days when we provided airport transportation and daily life support (accompanying people for official procedures, etc.) .

This time, we'll be introducing a day spent supporting Weiyan, Aaker, and Ken, who came from Myanmar and started working at a yakiniku restaurant in Niigata Prefecture.

9:00 Arrive at Narita Airport!

From Myanmar via Bangkok

After about 8 hours, we finally arrived at Narita Airport!

All three of them waved back with smiles that didn't make it seem like they were on a long journey.

I immediately changed to a local train and headed to Ueno Station.

All three of us were excited to buy tickets for the first time!

10:30 Take the Shinkansen from Ueno Station to Niigata!

When we arrived at Ueno Station, we changed to the Joetsu Shinkansen and headed to Niigata! Today, after arriving in Niigata, we had to go to the city hall right away to complete some paperwork, so we decided to buy some rice balls to satisfy our hunger and eat them on the train ^ ^ "The rice is delicious!" We were immediately impressed by Japanese food ♪ After that, we were so tired from the trip that all three of us fell asleep before we knew it...

12:30 Arrive at Niigata Station

After about two hours on the Shinkansen, we arrived safely in Niigata! All three of us were surprised by the temperature change in Niigata, which is colder than Tokyo!

Immediately after arriving, I got into the rental car I had reserved near the station.

You will need to complete the moving-in procedures at City Hall.

But then something happened...!

We headed to the city hall, but the area didn't allow foreigners to register, so we hurried to the ward office!

13:30 Complete moving-in procedures and issue resident registration card at the ward office

To complete the procedure for moving in together for three people from overseas

It took a little while, but the process was completed successfully.

While waiting, I picked up a sheet of paper with the rules for separating garbage in the area where I'm going to live.

I received it from the ward office and explained it to the three people.

14:15 Open an account at the bank

After completing the moving-in procedures at the ward office, it will be essential for living in Japan.

Open a bank account for salary transfers!

The account opening was completed successfully while translating difficult words into simpler terms as much as possible.

The passbook and card will be mailed to you at a later date, so I can't wait for them to arrive!

15:00 Late lunch

Once you have successfully completed the procedures for opening a bank account at the ward office,

I was getting hungry so I had a late lunch at a nearby family restaurant.

There are some foods that cannot be eaten depending on the culture or religion of the country of origin.

When dining with foreigners

I often eat at family restaurants with a wide variety of menu items!

16:00 Move-in and appliance explanation

We went to the apartment where the three of us lived, which had been prepared for us by our employer.

A human resources representative from the workplace will welcome you at the entrance.

He joined us in visiting the residents of the same apartment building to say hello!

After that, I will explain how to use each home appliance one by one.

Many of the Japanese home appliances were new to the three of them.

Myanmar is a very hot country, so it's not just air conditioning that's important.

I was very surprised to find that it had heating!

17:00 Shopping for daily necessities

After the explanation of the home appliances, the three of them seemed to really like their room.

From here on, I will accompany you on your shopping for daily necessities in Japan!

The people at my workplace provided the bedding and home appliances, so

I mainly bought heavy items like work pants and rice.

18:00 Greetings to your employer

Then I visited the store where I will be working. Since I will be working at two stores,

Greet each store manager and the company's human resources department.

This is the first time the store managers have accepted foreigners.

They were very kind and caring!

All three of us were nervous, but we introduced ourselves cheerfully.

We quickly became friendly and I felt at ease.

18:30 Thank you for your hard work on the first day in Japan!

After completing the employment procedures, I checked the locations of nearby supermarkets and 100-yen shops.

I carried the groceries I had bought earlier and returned to my apartment.

The first day's schedule has been completed successfully!

Since I would be starting work in three days, I confirmed the mindset I need to have for working in Japan.

All three of them listened to me seriously and I could feel their enthusiasm for their work!

It was a busy day as I finally began my life in Japan. Thank you very much for your hard work.

I'll see you again in three months for a regular appointment!

So stay tuned for next time!
