[7th JFBFE Networking Event] A total of 60 people from 7 countries gathered to enjoy the Japanese culture of "Yakatabune" (houseboat) riding!

On July 23rd, the 7th JFBFE social gathering was held , a "Yakatabune Cruise."

We had the opportunity to welcome supporters from foreign countries and business partners, making it a huge event with a total of 60 people!

I will report on the event \( ˆoˆ )/

Why a houseboat?

Yakatabune is a traditional pleasure boat that has been around since the Edo period, and you can enjoy delicious Japanese cuisine while immersing yourself in its history and atmosphere!

It's truly an experience that can only be found in Japan.

And the view! This time, we wanted you to enjoy the night view of Tokyo Bay and the Odaiba area.

18:00 Meet at Shinagawa Station

A private bus will take you to the pier.

While the food and beverage staff were waiting, participants began arriving one after another!

18:30 Let's set sail!

Everyone arrived safely at the pier, and we split up onto two sightseeing boats and set sail!

Since it is a private charter, the inside of the boat is completely private and spacious!

Many of the participants were riding on a houseboat for the first time, and when they got inside, they could be heard exclaiming, "Wow, this is amazing!!"

Meal & chat time

A total of 35 foreigners working in specific skills participated on this day! There was interaction between many nationalities, including Myanmar, Vietnam, Nepal, Uzbekistan, China, Taiwan, and Spain \( ˆoˆ )/

There are many different industries to work in, including restaurants, nursing care, and food manufacturing.

We exchanged opinions from various perspectives about what kind of work everyone does on a daily basis.

Lottery event

As the conversation between participants flowed and the atmosphere warmed up, it was time for the long-awaited game event, the raffle! Now, everyone was excited to see who would win!

Those who won gave their comments in front of the crowd, and it was a very exciting time \( ˆoˆ )/

Impressed by the sunset and night view!

As we were doing this, the color of the sky changed in an instant and a beautiful sunset came into view!

We were blessed with good weather and the views from the boat were spectacular!

We all went out onto the deck and took lots of photos♩^^

Get an original T-shirt as a gift!

Have you noticed that some of the people are wearing matching T-shirts? ^^

In fact, this time the Food and Beverage Association created original T-shirts and gave them to all participants!

I was happy that many people tried it on right away o(^-^)o

The T-shirt design features a Japanese motif with a large Mount Fuji in the middle.

In the center, we have included the words "JFBFE (= Food and Beverage Association) FAMILY" !

As these words suggest, the foreigners we support are like family to us .

We will continue to support you so that you can continue working in Japan with a lively, happy, and secure life!
